I have this little group on Flickr called Children's Birthday parties (ages 1-5) and it has really grown in recent months—100 members as at today. This is a great group to check out for ideas for little ones' birthday parties, which is what I am doing today.
My Little Man is turning three next month. As unbelievable as that is, and sad in a way, I love planning these celebrations, making them special in anyway possible, to create some fantastic memories, and just a plain old good time.
This year we're not having a big party, just something with the family—something budget, yet intimate.

So now for some decisions... do I do another train cake like last year (because he's still obsessed with all things locomotive) or do I venture out into the birthday cake wilderness?
