Happy Easter : Cards

I've been busy making Easter cards for the family and knitting more egg cosies, but I'm yet to buy any actual chocolate Easter eggs. Our family Easter celebrations start this weekend, so I had better get a move on!

Entries close midnight 13 February (Australian time) and I will randomly draw a name the next day, Valentine's Day.

To start it off, my perfect Valentine's Day would include an evening picnic at the Point, with crisp white wine, Brie cheese, baguettes and a perfect sunset, followed by ice cream in a cone and a walk along the jetty. Of course there would be no flies and no mosquitoes, so that's asking a lot hey. Oh, yeah, hubby would be there too!

So finally something to show for my crafting madness! I have felt the pressure (self induced I might add) of too many projects this week, so I am having a couple of craft free days, and while the babes are asleep, I'm going to work on my interior decorating course instead.

My sister is a fully fledged photographer now and is starting out in a business of her own. You can see her blog here. To kick off the new year she is having a competition consisting of three prizes: 2 x portrait session for a couple and 1 x portrait session for an individual. Each prize includes 90 minute session at a location of your choice, a DVD of images and an A4 size print.

There are basic conditions: Must be a resident of Brisbane, Qld, Australia to be eligible to claim the prize. 2. You must be able to claim your prize before the 30 April 2009 at a mutually suitable time. 3. You must be willing to have your images displayed on Wendy's blog and subsequent website.
